It makes sense that if you are going to invest in training that you might have some questions…
I have noted answers to some of the more frequently asked questions below or alternatively click on this video to hear me discussing some answers to these questions. Alternatively please email me info@turningtables.co.nz to discuss.
How many staff can attend per training session? I have found that a maximum of 18 to 20 team members works best for interaction and retention of information. Smaller groups can also be accommodated or alternatively you can look at one to one coaching for individual leaders.
How long does the training take? Front of house training sessions are generally between 2 to 2.5 hours in length. Leadership sessions are between 3 to 4 hours in length.
What sort of training do you do? A wide range of options are available – have a look at the Talking Training or On Tour pages to get some ideas or please feel free to contact me direct to discuss your needs.
Do you provide any written materials and resources? All workshops are supported by a range of written materials that the team can keep – these can also be sent in an electronic form. All information that is collected in the exercises is also sent out to you after the session.
Where do you do the training? For in house sessions the training will be at “your place” – the benefits will be the team can see how it can work in their space and the training can be held around rosters and opening hours. The On Tour workshops are held at a variety of venues around New Zealand – information about the location is provided in the invitation which is sent out to the Turning Tables database – sign up here if you are interested.
What does it cost? I charge a flat fee for established workshops which range in length from 2 to 4 hours. Alternatively, if you require something tailor made for your team this will be at an hourly rate with a disbursement fee for research and resources. Transport and accommodation costs if required are additional. This will be discussed with you once your training requirements are established. The goal of Turning Tables is to provide exceptional value for money and to provide recognisable benefits to your business by your investment in staff training.
